Insomnia is a common condition in which a person has trouble falling or staying asleep. One third of adults have insomnia some time in their life, with 10 to 15 percent reporting long-term insomnia.

If you’ve experienced insomnia, you know it affects your waking as well as your sleeping hours. People suffering with this condition wake up unrefreshed. Poor quality sleep makes it more difficult to focus on tasks, learn, and remember. Chronic insomnia eventually affects energy level, mood, work performance, and quality of life.

Symptoms of Insomnia Include:
  • Trouble Falling Asleep
  • Restless or Fitful Sleep
  • Daytime Sleepiness or Fatigue
  • Increased Errors or Accidents
  • Night-time Awakenings
  • Trouble Concentrating
  • Irritability, Depression, Anxiety

If you are experiencing some of the symptoms above, you may be interested in participating in a research study to determine the effectiveness of a newly developed investigational medication for Insomnia at Anderson Clinical Research. Our experienced staff of physicians and nurses will be happy to discuss the study with you. Study participants will receive physician visits and study medication at no cost. You do not need insurance and may be compensated for your time and travel expenses. Please contact us today to see if you qualify for a clinical research study.
